I am a graduate student living and working on Long Island, New York. I am a paleontologist with a particular interest in the evolution of carnivorous mammals. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from Ohio State with degrees in Anthropology and Geology, lived and researched for a year in Bonn, Germany, and have had a lot of incredible opportunities to do a little wandering in the United States, Europe, and Africa. I am interested in history on all time scales. My academic interests deal with deep time and the evolution of modern ecosystems but I also love learning about more recent history as choices and accidents echo in current events.
